Alright, so the election is over and we can all say what we really feel. Now I'm aware that the title of this is deceptive but I have to ask...did you cringe like I did every time you saw the youngest Palin daughter holding her brother? The whole family proceeded with walking like nothing was wrong with this. There isn't anything wrong with it if it's done occasionally but every time I turned on the TV that kid was holding the baby. Aren't there laws against this? Better yet, why the HELL aren't those kids in school anyway? Let me guess...homeschoolers. Figures.

To Old for Myspace?

Due to a high number of friends asking to "glance at my MYSPACE page," I--a thirtyish, left-handed woman--have been forced and urged to create a page. Okay...okay, maybe not forced but my hand was slightly twisted. Now, let it be known , I have nothing against Myspace. It's just I can remember when the darn thing was created and it seemed...well, it seemed like a place for junior high and high school babes. Even now, when you look at everyone "tagging" sites, it reminds me of my crew signing my high school yearbook. Yet the pages I've visited are pretty much the domain of bonafide "grown folk" or people in their thirties. So what does this mean? Is Myspace becoming a haven for adults who want to entertain the kid within or is it becoming a legitimate extension of glorified e-mail? I haven't even touched the issue of all the sales pitches...everyone is a singer now. What do you think?

It's amazing how the media has blown the debacle into a full fledged issue. Various news programs are giving major media time discussing how to tell American kids the inevitable better known as THE TRUTH. Look, kids should be given a lot more credit when it comes to their understanding and reasoning concerning society's "issues." I don't know of any child becoming pregnant because it was "cool" and all their friends were "down with it." Kids today seem to be concentrating on their Playstation games and Bratz dolls. They don't have time for babies.

Recently, Entertainment Tonight did an expose on being obese in America. On two different shows--one with Vanessa Minnillo and the other with the Deal or No Deal girls--the women dawned "fat suits" to mimic what the reality would be for a plus woman. Of course, the findings were not pretty. The women faced ridicule and stares. However, why go through all that...They could have just asked a plus-sized woman?

You've probably seen a clip of the new, improved The View on the ABC Network and although it is delightful--including the ever so coy little cat fights between Whoopi and Sherri--you have to admit it just doesn't have that firecracker zing that you tuned in for in the past. Despite all of her controversial, slightly "bipolar" eccentric ways, Rosie O'Donnell is a great media personality. Hopefully she will find a network willing to back up her sparks. Truthfully, I'd rather see her on some type of late night cable show where her ideas can be expressed freely with no censorship whatsoever.

They scream about having bling bling. They rap about flowin' with the dough and having women all around the world. So why can't million dollar rappers get their grills fixed? Now I'm not talking about gold teeth. Nope, rather I'm referring to basic dental care like, cleaning, whitening,repairing chipped teeth, braces, etc...Not everyone is guilty of it--Diddy and Common have a great set of pearlie whites. Here's a list of the biggest offfenders: 1) Fabolous--enough with the snaggle-toothed look. 2)Jermaine Dupri--pleeze get some inspiration from your girlfriend Janet. 3)Any rapper with the word "boy" in his stage name--not that hard to figure this one out. Honorable mention: Bobby Brown, DMX (excessively stained teeth) and 50 Cent (the gap thing isn't cute).
